Clean Up!
After dinner I asked Mason if he wanted to read a book or play and he said "I want to clean up!"

Preschool Holiday Parade
The preschool's annual Parade of Cultures. Grandma and Grandpa were in town for a visit so they got to see our parade! The Caterpillar class represented Saturnalia. Yeah...we didn't now what that was either :)

Up on the Housetop
Our current favorite Christmas Carol...
Mason was being a little whiny in the beginning of this one, but how could this song not put you in a good mood? So by the end of those 30 seconds, he's smiling :)

Elf On The Shelf
Our Elf on the Shelf made his first appearance this year! We read his book and the boys promptly assigned him the name "Teeny Weeny Elf."
The next morning the boys found him sitting on one of the reindeer on the fireplace mantle. The day after, he was napping in between the shadow boxes of our wedding pictures in the hall. And the day after that he got stuck in the window blinds on his re-entry to the house. After Ethan got over his initial fear of the elf on the first night, they have had a lot of fun finding his new place each morning!
