Dr. Seuss - we dig your books

Just a few photos of the boys enjoying their Dr. Seuss books. It's really funny because when they read their books they talk to themselves, but they don't actually open their mouths - it's like they are just reading in their head but making sounds - hard to describe, but hilarious to see and hear. They do it every time, so we always know when they are "reading."

Cruising with Winnie the Pooh (Videos)

Mason and Ethan have both been expertly cruising along pieces of furniture and around them for about a week now (though I keep forgetting to get that on video, so I will have to do that too)

Our neighbor (and great friend) let us borrow her Winnie the Pooh "trains" (one is very train-like, the other is a little more car-like) which are ride/push type toys. They light up, play music, and one of them even blows bubbles. These have been a HUGE hit with the boys. Ethan has taken right to walking across the room while pushing the train. Mason walks with it a little bit, but is usually too distracted by all the fun buttons to push, so he stops walking and cruises around the side to push buttons instead.

Egg Hunt & Dog Love

Our neighbor invited us to stop in on their Easter Egg hunt. While we were there the boys scored two sports eggs and some major kisses from the neighbor's doggie Charlie.

Texas Bluebonnets

It's a Texas state requirement that all babies have their photo taken in a field of bluebonnets. Maybe not the law, but it seems that way since everyone does it - so this is our attempt - and we might make another attempt next weekend if the weather permits and the flowers are still blooming. Bluebonnets are wildflowers and bloom only once a year. They are quite pretty and smell wonderful!
